Greg, Eric, and Jack Oblivian were born in the streets of Memphis and raised on a balanced diet of cigarettes and whiskey. These trash rockers are one quarter Elvis, one quarter Cash, a quarter Tom Waits, and two quarters Compulsive Gambler. That's a buck twenny-five for those counting. After tearing up the Memphis scene with their noise throughout the 90s, the boys were in need of a rest and some salvation. Enter Mr. Quintron, industrial Chicago bred, now lost in the swamps of Louisiana, organ virtuoso. Mr. Q came out to Memphis and recorded nine songs with the Oblivians. Nine songs meant to stir your soul and get your sinful spirit into heaven. Included are a few traditional songs, as well as some written for the occasion by the Oblivians themselves. If you need some direction on your path, stand out tracks are "Live The Life," "What's The Matter Now," "Ride That Train," and "Mary Lou." Highly recommended for those in need of a little spiritual uplifting. God bless. A
